in den vergangenen Wochen lief manches vielleicht nicht ganz so reibungslos, wie ihr es von uns gewohnt seid. Dafür möchten wir uns entschuldigen und euch vor allem für eure Geduld, euer Verständnis und eure Treue bedanken! Hinter den Kulissen ist gerade einiges in Bewegung. Wir strukturieren unseren Betrieb neu und versuchen dabei auch, unsere Werkstatt wieder besser zu organisieren.

Für Werkstattbesuche gilt daher vorübergehend: Bringt euer Fahrrad am besten freitags oder samstags vorbei. Rainer kümmert sich darum und wir melden uns bei euch, sobald es fertig ist – aktuell dauert das ungefähr 1-2 Wochen.

Für alle, die uns schon länger kennen, gibt es auch ein persönliches Update: Nach vier Jahren in Vietnam ist Holger nun wieder zurück in Europa und kann wieder etwas mehr mitmischen. Aktuell sogar aus Warschau, wo sich auch das europäische Lager von tokyobike befindet. Hier stehen wir in engem Austausch mit unseren europäischen Partnern und arbeiten daran, unsere Lagerbestände und Abläufe künftig besser aufeinander abzustimmen.

Im Zuge dieser Neuorganisation werden wir auch einen Teil unseres Berliner Fahrradbestands in das europäische Lager verlagern.

Aber bevor wir das tun – ein kleines Dankeschön an euch!

Bevor die Räder Berlin verlassen, möchten wir sie lieber euch anbieten!

Deshalb gibt es ab sofort 15 % Rabatt auf alle aktuell in Berlin verfügbaren Fahrräder. Wenn euer Wunschrad in unserem Onlineshop als sofort verfügbar angezeigt wird und sich in unserem Berliner Bestand befindet, wird der Rabatt beim Checkout automatisch abgezogen. *

Vielleicht ist ja genau das Rad dabei, mit dem ihr schon länger liebäugelt.

Und falls euer Wunschrad gerade nicht bei uns steht, könnt ihr es weiterhin ganz unkompliziert über unseren Onlineshop aus dem europäischen Lager vorbestellen – sofern es dort verfügbar ist.

Wir arbeiten daran, die Bestände und Verfügbarkeiten im Shop möglichst aktuell zu halten. Dafür gibt es jetzt auch den neuen „Pre Order“-Button.

Für diese Vorbestellungen aus dem europäischen Lager gibt es bei direkter Zahlung 3 % Skonto – als kleines Dankeschön dafür, dass ihr ein paar Wochen auf euer Fahrrad wartet.

Die Lieferzeit beträgt dann ungefähr 3–4 Wochen, bis ihr euer Fahrrad bei uns in Berlin abholen könnt oder es direkt zu euch geliefert wird.

Auch wenn sich gerade einiges verändert, bleibt unsere Begeisterung für diese besonderen Fahrräder und die Menschen, die sie fahren, dieselbe.

Dear tokyobike friends,

Over the past few weeks, things may not always have run quite as smoothly as you're used to. We'd like to apologise for that and, above all, thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support!

There's quite a lot happening behind the scenes at the moment. We're reorganising our business and working on getting our workshop operations back into a more regular routine.

For workshop visits, here's our temporary arrangement: It's best to bring your bike by on Fridays or Saturdays. Rainer will take care of it, and we'll get in touch once it's ready. At the moment, this usually takes around 1–2 weeks.

For those of you who've known us for a while, there's also a little personal update: After four years in Vietnam, Holger is back in Europe and can once again be a little more involved in things.

Right now, he's actually in Warsaw, where tokyobike's European warehouse is located. We're in close contact with our European partners and working on better coordinating our stock and operations going forward.

As part of this reorganisation, we'll also be moving some of our Berlin bicycle stock to the European warehouse.

But before we do – a little thank you to all of you!

Rather than sending these bikes away from Berlin, we'd much rather offer them to you first!

So, starting now, we're offering 15% off all bicycles currently in stock in Berlin. If a bike is available in our Berlin stock and shown as ready to order in our online shop, the discount will be applied automatically at checkout. *

Perhaps the bike you've had your eye on for a while is among them.

And if your favourite model isn't currently in Berlin, you can still easily pre-order it through our online shop, provided it's available in the European warehouse.

We're working on keeping stock information and availability as up to date as possible. That's why you'll now also find a new "Pre Order" button in our shop.

For these pre-orders from our European warehouse, we're offering a 3% discount with immediate payment – a little thank you for being happy to wait a few weeks for your new bike.

Delivery takes approximately 3–4 weeks, after which you can either collect your bicycle from our Berlin shop or have it delivered directly to you.

Even though quite a few things are changing, our enthusiasm for these special bicycles and the people who ride them remains exactly the same.

We're looking forward to starting a new chapter together with you.
